Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Complete your RSA and open the door to employment in bars, restaurants, clubs and events across Victoria.

This accredited short course equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to responsibly serve alcohol in licensed venues. You’ll learn how to identify intoxication, understand liquor licensing laws, and confidently handle challenging situations involving alcohol service.

The RSA certificate is a legal requirement for anyone working where alcohol is sold or served in Victoria. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate from Liquor Control Victoria (LCV), valid for work in licensed premises across the state.

Topics include:

  • Legal requirements of alcohol service

  • Identifying intoxication and refusal of service

  • Minimising harm from alcohol misuse

  • Improving customer safety and service
