Thanks to support from the Bass Coast Community Foundation and local donors, each family will receive a special take-home learning pack. These include a bookmark by a local First Nations artist, three children’s books, a reusable Boomerang Bag, sustainability activities, seeds to plant, and a low-waste household checklist. Parents and carers will also get easy-to-read info on BCAL’s Clean Economy Courses and learning pathways, plus tips on sustainable living. It’s all about helping families learn and make positive changes together.

This project encourages families to engage in climate-friendly activities together, building awareness and positive habits from an early age. By connecting local family services with clean economy providers, it creates pathways for learning, action, and support. It also promotes local adult education and training, including BCAL’s Clean Economy Courses. Through shared resources, inclusive events, and community networks, the project supports sustainability while fostering connection, inclusion, and a sense of belonging.
