English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Friendly, supportive and social English classes for all levels

At Bass Coast Adult Learning (BCAL), we offer welcoming, small-group English classes for adults from non-English speaking backgrounds. Whether you’re new to Australia or have been here for years and want to improve your everyday English, we can help.

Our EAL classes are fun, relaxed and social, focusing on building confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Learn useful English for daily life—whether it’s for shopping, work, healthcare, transport, or just chatting with new friends.

We cater to all levels of English, from beginner to more advanced learners, and classes are tailored to your goals. You’ll learn in a supportive, inclusive environment, with experienced teachers who take the time to understand your needs.

BCAL is proud to offer a warm and welcoming space where you can meet new people, practise your English, and feel part of the community.
