The Good Bowl
Mondays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Participants cook and share meals while learning to plan, prepare, and clean up in a team. It’s a friendly environment where cooking becomes a tool for learning cooperation, communication, and confidence.

School Lunches
Tuesdays 9.30am – 12.30pm
A hands-on hospitality experience where participants prepare and serve lunch. This team-focused session supports routine, responsibility, and pride in contributing to the local community, while developing strong kitchen, food safety and social skills.

Games
Tuesdays 9.30am – 12pm
Engage in friendly, structured games that encourage turn-taking, strategy, and social interaction. This is a relaxed way to develop teamwork, patience, and positive communication in a fun and respectful environment.

Photography & Friendship
Tuesdays 9.30am – 12pm
Participants explore Bass Coast with a camera (or phone) in hand—capturing landscapes, people, and moments. These sessions foster creativity, confidence, and peer connection, with lots of social interaction during outings and shared reflections

Digital Discovery
Tuesdays 9.30am – 12pm
Learn digital skills at your own pace in a supportive group setting. Participants develop confidence using devices, navigating the internet, and managing online safety—all while building teamwork and communication through collaborative digital tasks.

Exploring Art
Wednesdays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
This sensory-rich session invites participants to express themselves creatively using different art mediums. Group art projects and exhibitions help build self-esteem, communication, and friendships in a calm, inclusive space.

From the Pantry
Thursdays 9.30am – 12pm
Participants work together to prepare delicious meals using pantry staples. The focus is on collaboration, sharing roles, and problem-solving as a team, while also learning how to cook nutritious, affordable food.

Cooking with Kylie
Fridays 9.30am – 12pm
This fun, hands-on cooking session is designed to build practical kitchen skills and confidence in a welcoming group environment. Participants learn new recipes, experiment with flavours, and work together to prepare and share meals. The focus is on creating a positive routine, building social skills, and enjoying a sense of accomplishment through cooking and connection.

School Holiday Program
Dates and times vary during school holiday periods.
BCAL’s holiday sessions are fun, inclusive, and well-attended. They offer opportunities to socialise, try new things, and explore the community through activities like market tours, cinema trips, and creative workshops. Each outing supports independence, confidence, and connection, often leading to lasting friendships and new skills.
