Early childhood education is a growing sector, with a high demand for passionate, caring people to work in kindergartens, long day care, occasional care, and early learning centres. If you’re considering a future in childcare but want to explore the field before committing to a full qualification, this course is the perfect first step.

BCAL’s Early Childhood Education course introduces learners to the values, responsibilities, and workplace expectations involved in early childhood education and care. You’ll explore what it’s like to work in a childcare setting, and build confidence through practical learning and supportive discussions.

This course is ideal for adult learners, including career changers, parents returning to work, or those preparing to enrol in a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. It’s designed for people working at Level 1 or early Level 2 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
