First Aid Level 2 Update – 3-Yearly Refresher Course

If your First Aid Level 2 (HLTAID011) certification is current or recently expired, it’s time to complete your 3-yearly update. This 1-day refresher course ensures your skills are up to date and that you remain compliant with workplace and industry standards.

This course includes:

  • An online theory module to complete at your own pace prior to training day

  • A practical, in-person session at BCAL to revise and reinforce life-saving techniques

Delivered by experienced and accredited trainers in a friendly, supportive environment, this refresher focuses on the latest first aid protocols, real-world application, and confidence-building through hands-on practice.

What You’ll Review:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Treatment of bleeding, burns, and fractures

  • Emergency response to shock, asthma, and anaphylaxis

  • Incident and casualty management

  • Effective communication with emergency services

  • Latest updates in first aid best practices and guidelines

Accredited Unit:

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
This comprehensive unit includes both:

  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

  • First Aid Level 1 competencies
