First Aid Level 2 – Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)

This nationally accredited First Aid Level 2 course is designed to equip participants with essential skills to provide immediate and effective response to a wide range of medical emergencies. Whether it’s a minor injury or a life-threatening event, knowing what to do—and how to do it properly—can save a life.

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid meets all industry and workplace compliance standards and is aligned with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, community expectations, and current legal considerations.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to recognise and respond to a wide range of illnesses and injuries

  • Techniques to preserve life, prevent further harm, and promote recovery

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) using manikins and current ARC protocols

  • First aid for burns, fractures, bleeding, asthma, anaphylaxis, and more

  • Effective communication with emergency services

  • Legal responsibilities and infection control

Important Note:

Participants must be able to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the ground. This is a physical requirement for course completion and national accreditation.
