This short refresher course is essential for anyone whose job, volunteer role, or personal circumstances require current CPR certification. Delivered by experienced trainers in a supportive, small-class environment, this course focuses on the skills, confidence and quick decision-making needed to effectively respond in an emergency. Whether it’s for the workplace or your own peace of mind, a CPR update ensures you can act fast and correctly when every second counts. What You’ll Learn: How to recognise and assess an emergency situation Steps to respond to an unconscious and non-breathing person How to perform high-quality CPR on adults and infants Use of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) Procedures in line with the latest ARC guidelines Legal and workplace responsibilities in delivering CPR Accredited Unit: HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation This unit is required to be refreshed every 12 months for many professional and volunteer roles.
